POSITION SUMMARY & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for supervising liquid production areas at the West Jefferson, OH facility and for the training, scheduling and development of X employeesThis position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core ValueEnsures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
Ensure the plant produces the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost consistent with exceptional manufacturing practicesProvide and maintain a safe work environment for all plant personnelRecognize and take steps to resolve operating problems in order to minimize their impact on the operationsRequest and direct services of maintenance, sanitation and other personnel as may be necessary to achieve the desired level and quality of production, sanitation, safety and warehouse servicesCooperate with and maintain successful relationships with all departments to assure a coordinated work relationship exists at all timesResponsible for ingredient usage and all other department costsPrioritize accurate and up-to-date records (i.
etimecards, downtime records, absentee records, etc.
)Enforce company policies in a fair and consistent mannerEncourage suggestions from employees which will improve production, quality, safety and/or control costs of productionKeep operations manager informed on operating and/or employee problems, quality, safety and/or control costs of productionMaintain consistent communications and monthly department meetingsAdhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintainedReport to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safetyResponsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI productsEnsure regulatory compliance at all times
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience2-5 years minimum experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy, food, and/or beverage industry Experience in Aseptic beverage filling operations a plusDemonstrated knowledge and experience with SAP desiredMust have excellent communication, interpersonal and teaming skillsAbility to prioritize and follow directions with little/no supervisionMust have strong organizational skills and ability to do multi-functional tasksMust be able to work overtime and/or weekends when requiredBi-lingual (Spanish-English) is a plusAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situationsAbility to respond to questions from internal/external customers/vendors at all levels including managementAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form Recommended Skills Business Correspondence Communication Coordinating Food Safety Maintenance Quality Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
